Got on the floor with a flashlight and tissue and just can t see anything.
Do not spill water on the toilet floor.
Dispose of bolts and bad seals.
Then i want to disinfect the mop.
First turn off water.
Remove water line from back of toilet.
It s not unusual for one to last more than 40 years with only a minimal amount of care.
Then i have to wash the towels floor and toilet.
I have all the towels to mop up the water and um mess from the toilet overflow itself.
Apply new seals and bolts.
The toilet pan must be released from the tank and floor and a new seal fitted.
I suppose you could bring the water supply up directly behind the toilet and put an outlet horizontally on the floor which will make washing the floor a pleasure not but the preferred location of the water supply according to the instructions is coming out of the wall 3 6 off the floor and 5 5 8 left of the flange centerline.
Everything should be as reliable as a toilet.
And i also feel like after mopping the floor i need to disinfect the floor.
Clean area to remove rust and anything else.
Remove the 2 or 3 bolts holding toilet tank to base.
That s because five minutes isn t a reasonable amount of time for an employee or manager to discover the pooled water and place a wet floor sign on it.
But occasionally water will begin to leak out from under the toilet and spill onto the floor which can lead to serious water damage.
And then i feel the need to run a bleach cycle in the washing machine just in case.
Flush toilet and sponge out water from tank.
The grocery store is not liable for your damages if management didn t know the sprinkler dripped water on to the floor.

The hand knob that attaches the supply to the toilet seemed pretty tight but i was able to tighten it just a bit more and seemed to stop the problem.

Do not over tighten bolts as this may crack the tank.
If the water seems to come from under the toilet then it is possible that the setting seal or gasket is leaking.
Calcium chloride is very readily soluble in water so water is a good method to dilute it.
This is likely the issue if when you flush the toilet it doesn t stop running.
The brine is not literally oily but rather feels appears to have an oily residue.
Appears to be clean water and not obvious where it was coming from.
A week or so ago karol noticed some water on the floor near the back of the toilet.
This has a significant effect on your utilities bill not to mention if the water seeps into your bathroom floor it s vexing to say the least.
Be careful when refastening the toilet pan as too much pressure on the screws can cause the toilet pan to crack at the base.
