Dyson v7 battery life review.
Thank you for your interest in the dyson v7 motorhead.
I know they mention up to 30 minutes but that s farfetched and not likely.
Given the machine is being used in accordance with your user guide the battery should last the life of the machine.
The larger unit means that the dyson v7 has a larger dust bin capacity at 0 54l up from 0 4l on the v6 and a longer battery life at 30 mins run time up from 20 mins on the v6.
This wasn t obvious to me when researching.
Although we are unable to provide an exact lifespan for our batteries we offer a 2 year warranty on our new handheld machines when purchased from an authorized retailer.
This certainly does not sound normal the v7 cord free should have up to 30 minutes of runtime on normal and approximately 5 7 minutes on the max mode.
It has been a game changer for me.
Unless you put it on the lower setting without any attachments and the weather being perfect or something.
The battery life on the dyson v7 comes in at a little more than 30 minutes but drops to 5 minutes in high power mode.
Otherwise it lasts 20m on normal mode or 30m for handheld at regular suction the handheld attachments are nice and way easier than using a dusting cloth.
But as a result the v8 is also heavier than the v6 and the v7 and it has a longer battery recharge time 5 hours as opposed to 3 5 hours.
The dyson v7 motorhead s battery life sucks just as much as the vacuum does.
Interestingly the charge time of 3 5 hours remains the same across both models.
The built in battery charges in 3 5 hours either freestanding directly connected to the wall charger or sat in.
It s a perfect fit and a more powerful battery than the original it didn t come with the 3 screws but i saved the ones from the old battery and was able to vacuum for 20 minutes and it was still charged.
Run times for the v7 animal are promised at 30 minutes and 6 minutes respectively.
